“Ada”

All-American Brood Cow

Ada

Ada, one of the breeds great show legends, was cloned in 2001. Cloning Ada accomplished two things for her owners. One, it gave them a young Ada to work with in their breeding programs and secondly, gave them the ability to merchandize and realize some value from the aging Ada. Ada’s owners realized the value of this great cow by selling one of her clones at public auction in 2002.
